No Obligation, Merchant Services Review Program for Retailer

Credit card processing and check acceptance programs have gone through dramatic renovations in the past three years. Negotiating a good rate in credit card processing can be meaningless, because on each transaction, there are hundreds of ways that a credit card can be settled. In other words, even though your business believes it has negotiated a great contract, in reality, the actual cost may escalate dramatically without the company ever knowing it, due to the incomprehensible billing platforms being utilized by the majority of credit card processing companies. In addition, many Retex members who serve the Retail market, are on credit card processing programs where their pricing schedule is completely different, since their customer is not present. There are new requirements in this environment that also can increase the cost of transactions invisibly, which is also the same case for Retailers who have an online business on the Internet, or who accept phone or mail orders. Additionally, many multi-location retailers are on long-term contracts, or incumbent to have their depository bank process their credit card processing due to loan obligations and other non-related credit card processing commitments. Finally, Retailers need to be aware of new PCI Compliance technologies that are not simply steps to mitigate heavy fines from the credit card processing companies; but, actually eliminate PCI Compliance issues by providing advanced technologies that virtually eliminates this problem. All of these challenges create an opportunity to have Retex Members take advantage of a new program being offered by World Business Services, Inc. (dba Retex Services). The program called a Merchant Services Review, allows Retex Members with the option of keeping their same service provider; or, implementing the recommendations of World Business Services. This service operates on a performance based shared benefit basis, with the retrospective and prospective savings being split 50/50 between the Retail Member and World Business Services, Inc. for a designated period of years based on whether or not the Merchant retains its existing service provider or not. The program is risk-free, since if World Business Services, Inc. comparative cost analysis of current billings does not yield any savings and/or recovery, the Retex Member pays no fee. Therefore, there is no reason for the Retex Member not to subscribe to this program, since if they “do nothing”, they will continue to pay what they are doing now.
