Because this is a new credit card brand, which has been successfully beta tested with major Professional Sports Teams, Retex Services is working directly with the management team of the new credit card brand. Retex Services, which is marketing this new program to Retex Members, is looking for a segment of the Retex Membership that is willing to develop generic and co-branded issuance programs for this exciting new credit card, which also allows the co-branding company to develop promotional campaigns to attract new customers and maintain the loyalty of existing customers. The ideal Retex Member candidates to become co-branding card issuers are Retex Members who have 100,000 or more traditional brick-and-mortar retail customers, or Retex Members that currently take orders online as well as have a Retail brick-and-mortar businesses. While all Members can benefit from accepting the card, these particular types of Merchants have significant potential to help get the cards in the hands of consumers, which ultimately benefits all Retex Members. In addition to the significant reduction of processing costs, the new credit card brand has other exciting advantages for the retailer. First, the credit card brand offers both prime and sub-prime underwriting bank relationships for each individual card program, which can greatly increase cardholder acceptance rates for co-branded card programs. Secondly, the credit cards are PIN-based, which greatly reduces fraud and chargeback risk over traditional signature-based cards. The advantages to the consumer are also compelling. As anonymous, PIN-based cards there is significantly greater protection against identify theft. In addition, cardholders have access to a variety of other functions and features, such as free money transfer between card holders, subordinated card accounts, prepaid and stored value capabilities, and the ability to securely store and provide restricted access to personal information using the card and PIN number as the authorization. Finally, very special consideration is being extended to Retex Members in terms of their costs to issue and accept the card. They will be contacted directly by Retex Services, who will provide them with the sign-up forms, and then; will introduce them directly to the service provider.
